Service to Owners



St. Joseph's Credit Union has over 3850 members and total assets exceeding $30,000,000.00. Our professionally trained, knowledgeable staff provide personal service and attention to each member. A Financial Planner is also available during and outside normal business hours to visit you at home or at the office. Owners can choose to transact their business electronically through Automated TeleService, Personal Contact TeleService, ATMs and MemberDirect Online Access.

Credit unions are part of a strong regional, national and international network of credit unions. In Nova Scotia our 37 credit unions provide 84 different locations throughout the province.  Nova Scotians, as credit union owners, hold total assets of $1.6 billion.

National



Canada's credit unions and affiliated caisses populaires have combined assets of over $114 billion and serve 5 million owners. These figures speak to the vitality and strength of the Canadian credit union movement as we enter the 21st century.

International



Internationally there are 79 credit union countries with a total of 40,258 credit unions. These credit unions serve over 118 million people with assets totaling about $600 billion.
